COUCH SURFERS ANIMAL RESCUE

HOPE IS WHERE THE HEART IS

Couch Surfers Animal Rescue wants to spread our message of hope, love and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and fostering activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.

About

Couch Surfers Animal Rescue (CSAR) was established following the dramatic rescue of four gorgeous puppies found in dire conditions inside an abandoned tyre. These puppies were only 4 weeks of age and had been left abandoned and alone inside a tyre in a hot, stinky rural town in the middle of nowhere in South East Queensland with no food or water for at least a week. Danielle, the founder of CSAR tirelessly worked together with Police, Rangers and Vets to save the lives of these puppies, now known as Clarke, Stevie, Rocco and Buster.

Our mission is simple:

Provide temporary foster carers for cats, dogs and other domestic animals whose owners are no longer able to care for them

Find permanent ‘forever’ homes for the animals in foster care, so that they can live the rest of their lives as part of a family, and

Ensure that all animals in foster care receive necessary veterinary treatment throughout their time in foster care.
